China and the United States face a serious challenge from North Korea:

"North Korea will not abandon nuclear weapons even if they die! "Our fate is nuclear weapons! "We are not afraid of anyone's threats," Kim's sister issued a clear warning. North Korean leader Kim Jong and his impressive sister Kim Yo Jong has made a clear announcement that the country will not leave its nuclear weapons program under any circumstances.  He has said that North Korea will also keep growing its nuclear arsenal in the future. According to the state-run news agency KCNA, Kim Yo Jong has rejected the American attempt to remove nuclear weapons from North Korea. He claims that the nuclear resistance capability that was constructed to guarantee the nation's safety will be strengthened.

The expression was used in the evening prior to the North Korean visit of Chinese President Xi Jinping. After seven years, the upcoming visit has been viewed as having special diplomatic significance. Additionally, Kim Yo Jong denied that the recent meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping shared a common goal of disarming North Korea. She mentioned that these kinds of claims were only "false" regarding North Korea. She said that the country's nuclear policy is irreversible, the nuclear resistance capacity created for self-defense will be strengthened.  Additionally, "stuck in old thinking" was still mentioned by some American officials. In the meantime, North Korea has opened a brand-new production facility for nuclear materials.

On that occasion, Kim Jong had instructed the country's nuclear reserves to "expand at a rapid speed".  Analysts predict that this brand-new uranium enrichment facility will further accelerate North Korea's nuclear program. According to Yonhap, a South Korean news organization, Kim Jong Un recently visited a significant weapon factory and gave instructions to increase missile production capacity by 2.5 times in the next five years.

Following the failure of the Trump-Kim talks in 2019, North Korea appears to have intensified its nuclear program. International analysts believe that Kim Jong Un wants to recognize North Korea as the official nuclear nation, which could pave the way for the removal of international sanctions. Meanwhile, President Xi Jinping's visit has been watched with special interest as China also tries to strengthen ties with its only formal treaty partner North Korea.
