Dr. Sanduk Ruit's humanitarian mission, which the US made a weapon to 'spy' inside North Korea!

Dr.  Sanduk Ruit's humanitarian mission, which the US made a weapon to 'spy' inside North Korea!

Kathmandu (Special Report): From the outside, it was purely a sacred medical mission, the purpose of which was to bring light to people living in darkness.  But inside, it was a very risky 'undercover operation' carried out in the heart of the world's most dangerous, cruel, and mysterious country, 'North Korea'!

Nepal's well-known ophthalmologist Dr. Sanduk Ruit had reached Pyongyang to perform cataract surgeries on more than a thousand North Korean citizens.  However, a sensational fact has come to light that this sacred humanitarian mission was used by the American media as an infallible 'cover' to break down the impenetrable wall of North Korea and reveal its inner secrets.

The perilous strategy originated in Kathmandu! North Korea is a country where American journalists are not only forbidden to enter, but are also forbidden to even hear their names.  However, National Geographic's famous American journalist Lisa Ling and her cameraman Brian played a dangerous game to break the same ban.  They presented themselves not as 'journalists' but as Dr.  Ruit's 'medical team member' and 'medical student'.

The terrifying plan was hatched in a secret hotel room in Kathmandu.  To evade the strict scanning of North Korean officials, they hid their cameras in boxes of linen and medical equipment.  It was a direct game of death!

An 'undercover' operation that eluded the eyes of the regime

As soon as they reached Pyongyang, their passports and mobile phones were confiscated.  Eight North Korean spies (Minders) were deployed to monitor their every step.  Nevertheless, the American team reported in a manner reminiscent of a spy right under their noses. On the one hand, Dr.  Sanduk Ruit was filling the eyes of patients in the operating theater, while American journalist Lisa Ling was secretly recording the hunger, poverty, malnutrition, and emptiness of the dictatorial regime in North Korea under the pretext of 'medical recording'.  Dr.  Ruit's service had become the safest gateway in the world for them.

What would have happened if the leak had been discovered?  Direct death penalty or hard labor camp!

What would have happened if North Korean informants had discovered that American journalist Lisa Ling? If their real identities had been discovered, Dr. Ruit and the entire team could have had to spend their lives in a cruel prison (Hard Labor Camp) in North Korea, or they would have been directly sentenced to death.

Conclusion: International geopolitics under the umbrella of service

Dr. Sanduk Ruit's purpose was absolutely sacred—to give people sight.  He was far above politics.  However, this incident shows how the Western media has turned a doctor's selfless service and humanitarian mission into a strategic weapon to fulfill its own interests.  Sanduk Ruit became a 'god' for North Korea, but the team that went with him failed to complete the 'spying' mission to expose North Korea to the world!
