Today, Poush 1, Nepal observed National Flag Day to commemorate the adoption of the national flag on December 16, 1962, Poush 1, following the publication of the Constitution of Nepal. 

Minister for Communication and Information Technology Jagdish Kharel conveyed his best wishes to all Nepalis on the occasion, emphasizing the importance of respecting the national flag as a representation of national unity, sovereignty, and identity.
