On July 16, 1945, at exactly 5:30 am, the first atomic bomb in history was tested in a desert in New Mexico, USA. When the bomb exploded, a light many times brighter than the sun spread across the desert, and a terrible mushroom-shaped flame rose 40,000 feet high. The entire earth shook.
​A man who was witnessing this terrible scene was in severe mental shock.
He was the main creator of the atomic bomb, scientist J. Robert Oppenheimer. As soon as he saw that devastating scene, no scientific formula came to his mind, but instead a strong verse from the holy book of Sanatan Dharma, the Shrimad Bhagavad Gita, resonated.

​1. Manhattan Project and that severe misuse of science:
During World War II, America, fearing that Hitler could build an atomic bomb, gathered the world's best scientists and secretly started the Manhattan Project, which was led by Oppenheimer. He was not only a scientist, he was a Sanskrit scholar and a great admirer of the Gita.

​2. That verse from the Gita and Oppenheimer's tears:
When the bomb was successful, other scientists were dancing with joy. But Oppenheimer knew that he had given the world a weapon that could reduce humanity to ashes in an instant. He later said in an interview, shedding tears,

We knew that the world would never be the same again. Some people laughed, some cried, most were silent. I remembered that strong line from the Hindu scripture Gita, where Lord Krishna, showing his immense form to Arjuna, says, kalo smi lokakshayakritpravridho (Now I have become death, the destroyer of the whole world). We all felt deep down that we had opened the gates of hell.

​3. The harsh punishment of Hiroshima and Nagasaki:
Exactly 3 weeks later, on August 6 and 9, 1945, the United States dropped the same atomic bomb on Hiroshima and Nagasaki in Japan, where more than 200,000 people melted into the air and died in seconds. Oppenheimer's hard heart changed after seeing this horrific sight.
He went to the White House to meet US President Harry Truman and told the president, "Sir, I feel that I have the blood of innocents on my hands." President Truman called him a "stupid scientist" and threw him out the door.
A serious thought:
Oppenheimer's life teaches us that science without conscience is the greatest enemy of mankind. Technology makes people powerful, but if that power is not accompanied by spiritual and moral awareness, it only leads to self-destruction.

As stated previously, the dog biting cannot be cured here. Rabies-infected dog bites can be fatal if not vaccinated on time.  Because of this, these dogs require proper management.
