             1.       Mt. Everest

                   Which is on the border of Nepal and China, is the highest mountain in the world.

 

2.       K2 (8,611 m). K2

Which is in the Karakoram mountain range, is the second highest mountain in the world.

 

3.       Kangchenjunga (8,586 m)

 Kangchenjunga is between India and Nepal and is the third highest mountain in the world.

 

            4. Lhotse  (8,516 m).

                  The mountain shares a portion of the Everest route and is close to Mount Everest.

 

             5.  Makalu (8,485 m).

                    Makalu is known for its pyramid shape and is located near Everest region.

 

6.       Cho Oyu (8,188 m).

                     Cho Oyu is still very popular with climbers because it is the sixth highest mountain.

 

7.       Dhaulagiri I (8,167 m).

                    Dhaulgiri is the seventh highest mountain and is entirely in Nepal.

 

8.        Manaslu (8,163 m)

                     Manaslu is the eighth highest mountain and is popular trekking destination nearby.

 

9.       Parbat (8,126 m).

  Nanga Parbat is located in Pakistan and popularly known as the “Killer Mountain”.

 

10.        Annapurna I (8,091 m).

    Nepal is home to one of the most dangerous climbs and the tenth highest mountain.
