However, in recent years, their popularity has increased due to their tendency to breed in unsanitary conditions. Worshipped in the house courtyard until milk is given, but the cruel humanitarian trend of elderly and disabled people being chased and taken to the streets has resulted in a major crisis in several cities and rural municipalities across the country. In the rural municipalities of Narainapur, Duduwa, and Banke's Rapti Sonari, there are more than 2,061,51 dependent cows.
The Mangal Radhika Shadananda Dham's 900-capacity cowshala, which is regarded as Nepal's largest at Rapti Sonari-2, has seen the training of more than 1,100 cows. However, according to Mahanta Pritam Das, the two to four lakh rupees provided by the local government are comparable to "cumin in the mouth of an elephant." To manage 40 employees, purchase medicines, and transport five carts of hay each day, more than 1 lakh rupees are spent daily.
