Eggs can be a filling breakfast choice

EGGS FOR 7 DAYS: HERE’S WHAT RESEARCH SUGGESTS MAY HAPPEN

Starting your day with eggs may help you feel fuller and less hungry compared with a higher-carbohydrate breakfast.

Why?  Eggs provide high-quality protein and relatively little carbohydrate.  In controlled studies, egg-based breakfasts have been associated with greater satiety and, in some studies, lower food intake at the next meal.  Researchers have also observed different post-meal glucose responses compared with carbohydrate-heavy breakfasts.

But the evidence isn’t universal.  One 7-day trial found greater reported fullness after eggs but no significant differences in appetite hormones or energy intake.

Bottom line: Eggs can be a filling breakfast choice, but what you eat alongside them matters too.  🧠
