What historical fact would most people be surprised by? 

Rape in Nanjing. The Nanjing Massacre, also known as the "Rape of Nanjing," was the name given to this terrible incident. An estimated 20,000 women, including children and the elderly, were raped during the Japanese occupation of Nanjing City.


The city, at that time the capital of the Republic of China, had fallen into the hands of the Imperial Japanese Army, and between December 1937 and January 1938, the daily life of the Chinese inhabitants was a nightmare.

 Japanese soldiers went door to door looking for girls and women who were then arrested and raped in groups.

 And as if that wasn't enough, women were killed after being raped.

 The Japanese then rounded up about 20,000 young Chinese and transported them by truck outside the city walls, where they would be massacred.  Japanese troops then sacked the city of Nanjing and raped most of the female population.


A group of drunken Japanese soldiers roamed the city, looting, raping, and killing civilians at will.  If any civilian was stopped on the street and it was discovered that he had no property, he was killed immediately.

 The Imperial Japanese Army killed anywhere from 40,000 to 300,000 people during this time. This is the total number of civilians and soldiers killed. The bodies of thousands of victims of the massacre were thrown into the Yangtze River until the water of the river turned red due to the corpses of the victims of the massacre.

 To answer the question, I know this is a very crude fact.  Despite the fact that very little is known, I believe it is appropriate to recall the theme and not forget what has taken place in recent history, given that it has been 80 years since the event.

As stated previously, the dog biting cannot be cured here. Rabies-infected dog bites can be fatal if not vaccinated on time.  Because of this, these dogs require proper management.
